DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Mickael CAUSSE (ISAE-SUPAERO)\, Caroline Chanel (ISA
E-SUPAERO)\n\n\nConference Goal\n\nFollowing the great success of ICCAS Vi
rtual-2021\, we are pleased to organize the ICCAS 2022 conference. The aim
is to promote the dissemination and exchange of scientific information on
the next generation of civil and military aircraft. It provides an excell
ent forum for combining academic research and industrial works to examine
how we can develop intelligent aircraft systems owning more freedom of cho
ice\, sensitivity to the context\, learning capabilities\, and able to int
eract naturally with the pilots or the operators while saving their mental
and physical resources. \n\nRecent trends in this field address several m
ajor aspects such as the online monitoring of the flight performances base
 d on behavioral\, physiological\, and neurological measurements\, the desi
gn of more ecological human-machine interfaces providing intuitive informa
tion about the flight or mission status to support decision process\, and
architecture rules that guarantee a high level of operation safety. The co
nference addresses a wide spectrum of theoretical and practical topics rel
ated to neuroergonomics and human factors\, artificial intelligence or sys
tems engineering. It is mainly focused on aeronautics but contributions fr
om a wide range of domains such as automotive\, robots\, drones\, or artif
icial agents are welcome.\n\nPlease feel free to disseminate the pdf vers
ion of the call for participation.\n\nTopics of interest include\, but are
not limited to:\n\n\n	Neuroergonomics and human factors\n\n	\n Eye track
 ing\, EEG\, fNIRS\, other measurement methods\n Brain computer interfaces
 \n Mental workload\, acute stress\, emotion\, fatigue\n Simulation\, vir
 tual reality\n Training\, safety analysis\n	\n	\n\n\n\n	Human-Machine Int
 eraction\n\n	\n Sensors and adaptive systems\n Intelligent assistants\,
virtual assistants \n Ecological interface design\, augmented reality\n
 Innovative warning systems\, countermeasures\n Multimodal interaction\n	\
 n	\n\n\n\n	Artificial intelligence\n\n	\n Modeling and simulation\n Faul
 t tolerant distributed algorithms\n Human-aware task scheduling\n Cooper
 ative techniques\, mixed-initiative interaction/planning\n Transparent AI
 \, natural human-machine interaction\n	\n	\n\n\n\n	Autonomous vehicles and
Automation\n\n	\n Single pilot operations\n Remote control of automated
  vehicles\n Unmanned vehicles\n Man-machine cooperative techniques\n Et
 hical aspects\n \n \n \n	\n	\n\n\nParticipation\n\nThis conference invi
tes research experts and industry practitioners from multidisciplinary bac
kgrounds. It includes invited speakers\, and works’ presentation via abs
tract submissions and selection with an international scientific committee
.\n\nAuthors are invited to submit an extended abstract up to 5 pages incl
uding references and following the conference template. Extended abstracts
will be reviewed by the program committee and may be accepted for oral or
poster presentation. Online abstracts compilation will be published as op
en access on OATAO (Open Archive Toulouse Archive Ouverte).\n\nPlease note
that extended abstract submission is optional: academic\, industrial\, an
d students participants can attend the conference with a simple registrati
 on.\n\nKeynotes speakers\n\n\n	\n \n \n \n Jean-François Bonnefon
is a Research Director at the French Centre National de la Recherche Scie
ntifique. He is affiliated to the Toulouse School of Economics\, the To
ulouse School of Management\, and the Institute for Advanced Study in Tou
louse\, and occupies the chair of Moral AI at the Artificial and Natural I
ntelligence Toulouse Institute. He is the author of 100+ scientific public
ations\, including influential articles in outlets such as Nature and Scie
nce. He conducts research on decisions which have a moral component\, espe
cially in the context of machine ethics and human-AI cooperation. He curre
ntly serves as the president of the European Commission expert group on th
